Through the years I have done a bunch of different things - costume shoppe supervisor, costume designer, retail store
manager, retail merchandiser. A few years back I started beading, after receiving daily compliments on a beaded amulet
bag necklace that I wore often. Everyone wanted to know what it was, where I got it (it was a gift from a friend), what
I put in it. So I made one. One turned into a bunch of gifts for friends & family. I still loved making
them, but was running out of people to make them for. I found the beading process insanely calming & relaxing.
So I kept making them. Sold a few to aquaintances, had a shoppe owner interested, lost my full time job to a mass lay
off & started making more. Thus this site & the business were born.

Where I Work
Yep, it's my office/ guestroom! My favorite room of the house, which now that my daugher is a little older &
wanting BIGGER room, I have been able to reclaim as my space! Surrounded by light purple & sage green, sunshine
streaming in through the shutters, candles or incense burning, surrounded by my favorite books, and tunes playing - it's
the perfect haven. Guests have told me, despite it being my work space, it's a great place to rest!
